"W6 IS the exhibition gateway to the UK market for everyone supplying to the joinery, timber construction and furniture manufacturing markets." The words of NPL's MD Stephen McCrory when quizzed about going to another trade show earlier today. He also added "Building on an established visitor base from the former Woodmex and ASFI markets, the expanded 2006 exhibition will span the supply chain and I hope to generate some major sales" and why not with over 18,000 visitors expected from Joinery, Construction and Furniture Manufacturer sectors.
The W6 Working with Wood event has extended its exhibitor content further than ever to cover the complete range of suppliers for all those involved in the wood processing and manufacturing industries.
The event, to be held at the NEC, Birmingham 8-11 October, will appeal especially to all joinery and furniture manufacturing sectors as well as the wider construction industry. Located in the airy new halls 17-20a, visitors can enjoy free entry, car parking and catalogues and that’s just the beginning of an improved visitor experience.
Stephen is teaming up again with Weima and Fercell to promote the Weima range of recycling machinery as its one of the fastest growing markets in the industry sector. Again at the stand Stephen will have machines there so customers can see them and will have demo's showing throughout the day in the media centre.
W6, an amalgamation of the established Woodmex and ASFI exhibitions, promises an exhibitor line up expected to feature over 400 companies from timber and board supply, machinery, tooling, extraction, services, components and ancillaries.
