CONSTRUCT IRELAND EXPO 2006

With the construction industry in Northern Ireland estimated to be worth in excess £1.6 billion annually, the NEW LOOK Construct, incorporating Plan Expo at the Kings Hall, was Napoleon next port of call.

Although a smaller show it was a trade show only and we made direct contact with major manufacturers and generated good sales.

We used this show to launch our new product range Weima produced in Germany, with over 20 years of experiance, Weima's range of Shredders, Granulators and Briquetting machines are designed for the ever growing and essential needs for manufacturers to reduce their waste, and increase their profitability.

With more and more emphasis being put on environmental issues NPL has seen an opportunity in N. Ireland for manufactures to help protect the environment as well as save businesses money on waste costs. NPL has decided now to invest in recycling machinery for all industries to help manufacturers meet new government legislation and preserve our resources.

The response that we recieved from visitors to the show were all positive and most Managing Directors seemed to agree that waste managment was the way forward and had been considering how to manage their waste economically. At the stand we demonstrated a WLK4 wood shredder ( currently on offer ),sample timber briquetts for wood burning heaters, and a multi-media video showing the Weima range of shredders, granulators and briquetting systems in action.

We also had on the stand 2 examples of the wide range of Casadei woodworking machinery ( FS310 Combination Planer Thicknesser, SF80 Spindle Moulder ) Fercell Engineerings (FA1600 and FA1900 series Extraction Units & Kwick Fix Ducting System )and Harwi's woodworking machinery ( 625U Crosscut Saw )all imported directly by NPL.

NPL had the whole team down at the show to help with any technical queries, with a new addition Kevin, who had spent a month with the team as part of a work placement unit with BIFHE collage.
