Interplas, the largest event for plastic and rubber manufacturing industries in the UK was held at the NEC in Birmingham from 30 September to 2 October 2008. This event offered opportunity to view and compare a large range of machinery and equipment, with a chance to learn about improving levels of productivity and new ideas for recycling and energy saving.
As the Northern Ireland distributor for Weima ,Stephen attended the 3 day event, and was on hand to advise and illustrate the Weima range of machinery including granulation, shredding and volume reducing of plastics and associated materials. Working alongside Stephen was Kuy Schulte, Weima’s European sales manager.

Interplas, the UK’s leading plastics exhibition, remained busy throughout its three days, attracting thousands of quality visitors able to see a wide variety of working machinery on display. Exhibition Director Liz Finlay commented, “In these challenging economic times, it was fantastic to see so many new products and innovation on display and equally to learn of the amount of business generated during the show.”
